Silence

 This time once more

When my heart tore

I looked at the pieces fallen around

I knew the pain that came

To know

What is lost,

Will not be the same, when found

It ached to feel

To look at the path to heal

The truth that was left unsaid

I mattered so less

So easy it was to leave me I guess

And move ahead. 

With surprise I could see

Bending down with me

Were the kind hands of God

Helping to pick what was mine.

In the sight I felt such relief

Such balm to my grief. 

I know, that none and nothing remains

You were meant to leave

I must accept, 

Heal and not grieve. 

Go forth with my blessings and love

Feel my gratitude all above. 

No matter where you go

Please do know

My heart beats in you

A piece that will remain missing

It may never come back

But I will always keep wishing.
